We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team at Steady Construction Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Construction Labourer will be responsible for assisting in the construction process, including loading and unloading materials, erecting scaffolding, and mixing and pouring concrete.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading and unloading construction materials
  • Erecting and dismantling scaffolding, ramps, and other construction equipment
  • Mixing and pouring concrete and asphalt
  • Assisting in aligning pipes during pipeline construction
  • Assisting in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
  • Paving and raking asphalt
  • Cleaning up chemical spills and other contaminants
  • Tending or feeding machines or equipment used in construction
  • Directing traffic at or near construction sites
Requirements:
  • Experience in construction or a related field is an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labour
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Reliability and flexibility
Working Conditions:
  • Work will be performed outdoors in various locations
  • Exposure to dust, noise, and other hazardous materials
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
Language:

English is the primary language of communication in this role.

Work Schedule:

35-40 hours per week, with overtime required as needed.
