**About the Role:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Forensic Pathologist to join our team at Shared Health, providing province-wide services for medico-legal autopsies and family-consented hospital-based autopsies.

The successful candidate will be part of a team of pathologists, participating in departmental academic activities, training pathology residents, and instructing allied health professionals. Our laboratory offers toxicology and histology services, with access to consultation from staff pathologists.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Perform autopsies and provide medical examiner services
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care
  • Participate in academic and research activities to advance the field of forensic pathology

**Requirements:**

  • Medical degree and certification in Anatomical or General Pathology from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada
  • Eligibility to sit for the Canadian Royal College examination in Forensic Pathology
  • Registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba
