Dynamic Team Member Wanted

We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our dynamic team at Rogers Sports & Media. As a Casual/Temporary Associate Multi-Media Content Creator, you will play a key role in shaping and strengthening the CityNews brand.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create fast-paced, compelling, and informative news content for our digital properties and broadcast on our television and radio news programs.
  • Coordinate and deploy newsroom and field resources to gather elements and create news content.
  • Pitch story ideas during daily creative brainstorms and story meetings.
  • Research, write, and edit news content, ensuring it is factually and grammatically correct.
  • Develop innovative video content optimized for a digital audience.
Requirements:
  • Strong editorial judgment and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent writing, research, and interviewing skills.
  • Ability to create engaging digital content and work with a team to produce high-quality news stories.
  • Basic still and video photography skills, including the ability to add photos and videos to digital and broadcast content.
  • Ability to perform various tasks related to the production of visual news, including scheduling content feeds and coordinating live hits.
