Food Service Supervisor Role in Alberta

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Alberta INC. This is a permanent position that offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our organization.
About the Job:The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining high-quality standards. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our customers receive excellent service and that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities
Lead a team of food service counter attendants and food preparers to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Establish Work SchedulesCreate and manage work schedules to meet business needs while ensuring adequate staffing levels.
Maintain RecordsAccurately record and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
Prepare ReportsCompile and submit reports to management on a regular basis, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
Requirements:- Education
A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
Work ExperienceA minimum of 1 year of experience in a supervisory role within the food service industry is preferred.
Skills and QualificationsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team. Proficient in inventory management and record-keeping. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities:- Standing for Extended Periods
Ability to stand for extended periods, with frequent movement around the kitchen and food service area.
Attention to DetailHigh level of attention to detail, with ability to maintain high-quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
Estimated Salary Range:$45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
