About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Risk Manager to join our Risk Management Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for evaluating and managing cybersecurity risks across our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Perform comprehensive risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate cybersecurity risks.
  2. Collaborate with our Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and IT organizations to establish and maintain effective cybersecurity standards and policies.
  3. Develop and manage our Information Technology & Information Security Risk Program, utilizing industry-standard risk taxonomies.
  4. Provide independent assurance and validation of our cybersecurity controls, including both administrative and technical aspects.
  5. Assess the accuracy and sufficiency of our risk management governance framework, processes, and methodologies.
  6. Identify emerging cyber threats and risks to our environment and develop strategies to address them.
  7. Develop and lead cybersecurity remediation efforts, working closely with our 1st line-of-defense teams.
  8. Recommend enhancements to our data and technology architectures, processes, and controls to improve cybersecurity and risk management capabilities.
  9. Develop and implement tools for aggregating and surveilling cybersecurity risk, data risk, and technology risk.
  10. Identify and assess legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements related to data management systems and their impact on our business objectives.
  11. Participate in and review data breaches and technology incident/response escalation processes.
  12. Develop operational resiliency scenarios for stress testing and capital planning activities.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a relevant technical field.
  2. Strong understanding of financial services and cybersecurity laws, regulations, frameworks, and guidelines.
  3. Experience in assessing design and operating effectiveness of technology controls.
  4. Solid foundation in information technology and information security principles, including common cybersecurity frameworks and standards.
  5. Previous experience in cybersecurity operations and relevant security design knowledge.
  6. Background in IT risk assessment, IT audit, and information security management.
  7. Experience integrating vulnerability and patch management tools with IT/IS risk programs.
  8. Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead by influence.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. IT risk management or governance certifications (CGEIT, CRISC, CISA).
  2. CISSP, CISM, or CISA certifications.
Language

English is the primary language for this role, and the ability to communicate effectively in English is essential.
