Role Overview

The Assistant Director of Professional Resources works in collaboration with the Professional Resources team and other Operations teams to drive alignment and synergies of recruitment efforts, programming, and talent management. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the Chief Professional Resources Officer with lateral recruitment efforts, including resume screening, interviews, and candidate outreach.
  • Drafting offer letters and memos and creating and updating associate employment files.
  • Managing and supporting associates, including on-boarding, orientation, mentorship programs, social events, work allocation, engagement and retention, performance evaluation/management and coaching/development, counselling/mental health resources.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in successfully leading and managing teams.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Strong emotional intelligence with the ability to inspire, engage and empower others.
