Accounting Clerk

**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Clerk to join our team at 2172058 ALBERTA LTD. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and performing various accounting tasks.

**Responsibilities**

* Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
* Post journal entries
* Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
* Prepare tax returns
* Reconcile accounts
* Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
* Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
* Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems

**Requirements**

* Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
* 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
* Excellent organizational and communication skills

**Work Environment**

* 35 to 40 hours per week
* Permanent position
* Work Language: English
