Insurance Advisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Client Advisor to join our team in Vernon, British Columbia. As a Client Advisor, you will be responsible for advising, explaining, promoting, and selling insurance policies to ensure our clients are correctly insured.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide auto and other types of insurance, including commercial fleet, to our clients
- Recommend and implement clients' insurance coverages, premiums, and methods of payment
- Provide information on varying insurance policies, including risk coverages, limitations, and other features
- Respond to emergencies and assist clients with their claims
- Process transactions in EPIC, ICBC system, autolink, and private insurers' web portals
- Complete other duties and tasks as assigned by your team leader
- Client-focused mindset
- Ability to work weekends
- Adaptable and accepting of change
- Well-developed people and professional communication skills
- Courteous to clients and coworkers
- Adhere to the Insurance Council of BC Code of Conduct
- Previous insurance experience preferred but not required
- A Level 1 BC General Insurance Licence or a commitment to obtaining a Licence within 30 days of hire date
