**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Software Engineer to join our team at Rollbar, Inc. As a Backend Engineer, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining our backend systems, ensuring they are scalable, efficient, and reliable.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Design, develop, and deploy high-quality backend features and services using Python, Django, and Golang.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product designers, data scientists, and frontend engineers, to iterate on experiments and product features.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies and tools to improve our backend infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain APIs, ensuring they are secure, efficient, and well-documented.
  • Work closely with the engineering team to ensure observability and monitoring of our backend systems.

**Requirements**

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Backend development using Python, Django, and Golang.
  • Experience building and documenting APIs.
  • Strong understanding of data query and manipulation languages, such as SQL.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms, such as AWS or GCP.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
