Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Landscape Labourer to join our team at Entrepreneur Paysagistes Strathmore Landscape (1997) LTEE. As a key member of our outdoor maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to lawn care, gardening, and landscaping.

Responsibilities
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain a well-manicured appearance.
  • Cut grass using various mowing equipment to ensure a uniform height.
  • Rake and collect refuse to keep our outdoor spaces clean and tidy.
  • Remove litter and garbage to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials to prepare for planting and landscaping projects.
  • Lay sod or seed to create new lawns and gardens.
  • Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance our outdoor spaces.
  • Apply fertilizers to promote healthy plant growth.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to ensure they receive the necessary care.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Shovel ice and snow from track switch boxes to maintain safe and accessible pathways.
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Availability for shift or on-call work.
  • Availability for the advertised start date.
  • Current legal ability to work in Canada.
  • Residency in proximity to the advertised location.
  • Previous experience in this field of employment.
Working Conditions

This is a seasonal position with a duration of less than 2 years. The working hours are 30 to 40 hours bi-weekly. The language of work is English.
