Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

About the Role

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will work to your full scope of practice in the Acute Care, Emergency, or Combined Medical/Surgical department and provide care to patients of all ages. Every day is different, and you will have the opportunity to work with a friendly and professional team to provide safe, quality patient and family-centered care.

About the Facility

The High Prairie Health Complex features 30 acute care beds, obstetrics and surgical programs, emergency and outpatient departments, and a full suite of healthcare services from diagnosis through treatment and recovery. The attached JB Wood Continuing Care Centre has 67 beds.

Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program
  • Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA)
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP)
