Salary

We offer a competitive salary of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience, to support our educators in providing the best possible care for our students.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and caring Early Childhood Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young children and be committed to creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Bathing, diapering, and feeding infants and toddlers
  • Developing and implementing child-care programs that promote physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development
  • Leading activities such as storytelling, singing, and outings to local points of interest
  • Encouraging creativity through art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity
  • Guiding children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits
  • Preparing snacks and arranging rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods
  • Observing children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and preparing reports for parents or guardians
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A College, CEGEP, or non-university certificate or diploma in Early Childhood Education or related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in a daycare or nursery school setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents
