Job Summary:
">The Assistant Director is a senior leadership position that plays a critical role in the success of Kepler Academy Early Learning & Child Care. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the childcare center, including managing staff, developing programs and activities, and maintaining relationships with families.
">Key Responsibilities:
">- Manage the overall operational, budgetary, and financial responsibilities of the centre
">- Oversee and lead the work of all staff at the childcare center and business results for the centre
">- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with provincial regulations and standards
">- Create a positive work environment and promote excellence in the delivery of Kepler Academy's core foundation
">Requirements:
">To be successful in this role, you will need to possess strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to develop and implement policies and procedures. You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
">A minimum of 3 years' experience in early childhood education is required, with a minimum of one year in a management role. A post-secondary education in a business-related field or experience with finances and budgeting would be an asset.
