Job Title: Medical Care Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Medical Care Assistant to join our team at Chartwell Ste-Marthe residence pour retraités. As a Medical Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Prepare and serve meals, ensuring residents receive a balanced diet
  • Administer first aid in emergency situations, following established protocols
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of supplies, ensuring a clean and safe environment
  • Respond to call signals, providing timely assistance to residents
Requirements:
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Ability to lift, bend, and move with ease, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for residents
