About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Technician to join our team at Downtown AutoGroup. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service and maintenance to our guests' vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Diagnostics and Repair: Diagnose and repair vehicles to the highest standards, ensuring all work is completed correctly and aligning with our standard of excellence.
  • Service Delivery: Provide exceptional service to both internal and external customers, ensuring a positive experience for all.
  • Team Collaboration: Interact with colleagues from multiple dealerships in our innovative Autoplex facility, prioritizing tasks effectively to manage time and meet service commitments.
Requirements
  • Certificate of Qualification: Hold a Certificate of Qualification: Automotive Service Technician – 310S, Red Seal.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a licensed automotive technician, with a strong ability to diagnose and repair vehicles effectively.
  • Time Management: Demonstrate excellent time management skills and prioritize responsibilities to meet service commitments.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Hold a valid Ontario G Driver's License with no demerit points.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Toyota Systems Experience: Experience with Toyota systems and additional certifications in specialized areas of automotive repair.
  • Mentoring Experience: Experience mentoring junior technicians and a strong ability to train and develop others.
