**Job Description**

We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Store General Manager to join our team at Bass Pro Shops. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and increasing profitability.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve sales growth, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
  • Lead a high-performing team of retail staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Manage the annual operating budget of the store to achieve business objectives.
  • Partner with retail operations in Canada and the US to identify and implement best practices.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including corporate partners, retail management team, and retail staff.

**Requirements:**

  • 3-5 years of management experience with a strong emphasis on big box retail management.
  • Knowledge of and experience in a computerized environment, including the operation and administration of a Point of Sale (POS) and inventory management computer systems.
  • Strong financial management skills, including the ability to review and analyze financial statements.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, including the ability to recruit, hire, train, motivate, evaluate, discipline, and develop staff.
  • Good interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
