Job Description

The primary function of this role is to measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials to build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems. This includes fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware, as well as working on scaffolding or swing stages.

As a Carpenter with JCC Construction, you will work closely with the project team to ensure that all work is completed safely and to a high standard. You will be required to handle a variety of tools and equipment, including power tools and hand tools, and to maintain a safe and organized workspace.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in carpentry or a related trade
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various locations
  • Ability to work at heights, handle heavy loads and stand for extended periods
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition, we provide comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental and vision coverage, as well as a 401(k) plan with company match.
