Job Summary:

Brandt is seeking a skilled Preventative Maintenance Technician to join our team in the Laval Construction & Forestry location. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing on-site preventative maintenance services on commercial heavy equipment at customer sites, utilizing state-of-the-art technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform all levels of PM services on a scheduled basis in a professional manner.
  • Identify and report on additional items that require follow-up service work by a heavy-duty technician.
  • Ensure accurate capture and reporting of PM service checklist, inspection, and work order information for the benefit of customer reporting.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in contributing in a service-oriented environment working directly with customers and equipment operators.
  • Motivated, energetic, and strong communication skills are essential.
  • Willingness to work after-hours and/or participate in shift-work as required to support customer needs.
  • A recent driver's abstract will be required.
  • Truck Class 3 required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience operating, servicing, and/or maintaining agricultural, automotive, or heavy equipment.
  • Trade experience to a second- or third-year apprentice level is an asset.
