Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Extendicare (Canada) Inc.

About the Role

This is a permanent position, working 30 to 40 hours per week. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of nursing practices and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The role involves delivering health education programs, managing home care cases, and providing consultative services regarding issues relevant to nursing profession and nursing practice.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver health education programs to patients and their families
  • Manage home care cases, ensuring that patients receive the necessary care and support
  • Provide consultative services regarding issues relevant to nursing profession and nursing practice
  • Supervise licensed practical nurses and other nursing staff
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse by provincial or territorial authorities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Benefits
