We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist II to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our pharmacy department, you will provide exceptional patient care and contribute to the development of our pharmacy services.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and recommend individualized treatments for patients in Northern Health.
- Act as the primary resource for drug information, education, and expert advice to healthcare professionals.
- Monitor drug prescribing, distribution, and therapy to ensure safe, effective, and rational use of medications.
- Maintain accurate workload records and statistics.
- Baccalaureate degree in Pharmacy.
- Current licensure with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia.
- Completion of a Hospital Pharmacy Residency Program or a combination of at least one year of hospital experience and advanced education courses.
- Active membership in the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists is encouraged.
- Comprehensive benefit packages, including MSP, extended health/dental, and a municipal pension plan for part-time and full-time employees.
- Four weeks of vacation with one year of continuous service.
