**Job Description:**

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team at Frazer Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various types of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetrical, pelvic, peripheral vascular, small parts, and echocardiography.


**Responsibilities:**
  1. Receives and prepares patients for testing by reviewing patient history, correlating clinical history with examination, and explaining procedures to patients.
  2. Performs ultrasound procedures on various sections of the body, including abdominal, obstetrical, pelvic, peripheral vascular, small parts, and echocardiography.
  3. Collaborates with radiologists and cardiologists to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  4. Maintains patient records and updates patient information in client care information systems.

**Requirements:**
  • Graduate of a recognized training program in Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography and Diagnostic General Sonography.
  • Certified with Sonography Canada or the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of theory and practice for sonography procedures.
  • Able to communicate effectively with clients, families, coworkers, physicians, and other healthcare staff.
