Skilled Craftsperson

About the Role: We are seeking a skilled craftsperson to join our team at Atelier arking as a Wood Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for reading blueprints, determining work requirements, and measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand work requirements
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
• Prepare tenders and quotations for clients
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware in various settings
• Estimate costs and materials for projects
• Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various establishments

Requirements:

• Bending, crouching, kneeling required for job duties
• Combination of sitting, standing, and walking is necessary for the role
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Work Term: Permanent
• Work Language: English
• Hours: 30 hours per week
