Project Director for Land Development

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Director for Land Development to join our team at Canacre. As a key member of our land development team, you will be responsible for delivering land acquisition and project development services to our clients.



Duties and Responsibilities


  • Coordinate and lead internal resources to achieve project milestones
  • Support the development of project messaging for stakeholders
  • Identify and track project details for internal purposes
  • Host meetings with clients and project teams to review progress and updates
  • Update senior management on project status and changes
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and escalate to internal management as needed
  • Manage changes in project scope and develop contingency plans
  • Work with business development to identify opportunities for additional business
  • Maintain relationships with third-party vendors and contractors


Qualifications


  • Post-secondary degree in a relevant field, such as geography, geomatics, or real estate
  • Minimum 5 years of professional services consulting experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a management role
  • Experience in land acquisition, energy, real estate, permitting, and project development
