Purchasing Agent Job Description

At Max Wholesale Inc., we are seeking a skilled Purchasing Agent to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for purchasing general and specialized equipment, materials, and business services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Purchase equipment, materials, and supplies to meet the needs of our establishment.
  • Develop specifications for equipment, materials, and supplies to be purchased.
  • Negotiate offers from suppliers and consult with them to ensure the best possible deals.
  • Review quotations and establish delivery schedules to ensure timely receipt of goods.
  • Monitor progress of delivery schedules and contact clients and suppliers to resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Provide excellent customer service to our clients and suppliers.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment with a 32.5 hour workweek.
  • Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
Work Environment:
