Job Title: Junior Accountant

Pace Accounting Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Junior Accountant to join our team. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for planning, setting up, and administering accounting systems, as well as training staff and analyzing clients' financial records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, set up, and administer accounting systems
  • Train staff on accounting procedures and software
  • Analyze clients' financial records to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and procedures
  • Prepare financial information for individuals, departments, or companies
  • Prepare financial statements and reports
  • Recommend improvements to accounting systems and management practices
Requirements:
  • College/CEGEP education in accounting or a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in accounting or a related field
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, Caseware/Caseview, MS Office, and MS Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
