Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Appliance Technician to join our team at Edmonton Pump Service. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing electrical appliances and components, as well as providing exceptional customer service.

About the Role

This is a physically demanding position that requires frequent travel to various locations. You must be willing to work in a fast-paced environment and possess excellent interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will have a valid driver's license and be able to lift heavy equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose faults using testing devices and repair electrical appliances and components
  • Prepare written estimates of repair costs and advise customers on work performed and condition of equipment
  • Use shop equipment and specialized diagnostic and programming apparatus to repair, adjust and reprogram appliances
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset
  • Criminal record check, driving record check and drug test required
  • Valid driver's license
  • Steel-toed safety boots

Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
