Product Line Manager - WaveLogic Technologies

Ciena Canada, Inc. is committed to fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. We're seeking a highly skilled Product Line Manager to lead our WaveLogic Technologies portfolio, driving the definition, introduction, and life cycle management of our industry-leading products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute product strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Work closely with customers to gather feature requirements and provide expert guidance on product positioning and marketing collateral.
  • Partner with marketing teams to develop product positioning and marketing materials, including external presentations, data sheets, and value propositions.
  • Assist sales teams with ASIC and components roadmap presentations and RFx responses.
  • Serve as a key interface between engineering and sales/customers, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
  • Technical degree (BSEE minimum) and 5+ years of demonstrated experience in relevant areas, with prior Product Management or Technical Marketing experience a plus.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, customer interaction, and interpersonal skills, with a strong desire to acquire/improve on these skills.
  • Self-motivated, with a start-up work ethic and mentality, comfortable working in a fast-paced organization with a growth mindset.
