Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cement Operator to join our team at Trican. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our pumping equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure the safety of yourself and others at all times, adhering to Trican's core value of prioritizing safety above all else.
  • Operate truck-mounted and tractor-trailer pumping equipment between locations, utilizing your knowledge of blending and mixing calculations to optimize performance.
  • Assist in the rig-up and rig-out of treating iron, manifolds, and recording equipment, working under qualified supervision.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections, accurately completing driver log forms and maintaining pumping units and auxiliary equipment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless operations, utilizing strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Requirements
  • Valid Class 1 or Class 3 Driver's license required.
  • High school diploma an asset.
  • Safe driving skills and a clean driver's abstract.
  • Physically fit, with the ability to lift heavy loads.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
