Modern Technical Staffing Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager / Technical Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales and project development team, you will be responsible for coordinating with our sales team and branch manager to ensure a smooth transition from planning stages to system installation stages.
Key Responsibilities- Project Management: Manage the overall direction, pricing, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of awarded projects while ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals.
- Sales and Business Development: Expand a specific sales territory in London, Ontario, and establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.
- Proposal and Quotation Preparation: Prepare quotations for client-specific needs and public tenders, as well as prepare By-Pass plans and Discharge Plans.
- Client and Stakeholder Management: Interact with engineers, clients, consultants, government agencies, and perform follow-ups to projects and keep a record of contract awards for market assessment purposes.
- Project Planning and Implementation: Lead the planning and implementation of projects, supervise pumping system installation and teardown, and prepare presentations and sales reports.
- Financial Management: Manage project budget, track project deliverables using appropriate tools, and analyze supplier quality, availability, and costing on a regular basis.
- Reporting and Communication: Provide direction and support to project team, coordinate monitoring, and provide reports to Atlas' Regional Sales Manager.
- Education and Experience: Technical college/university graduate or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years of management experience.
- Skills and Qualifications: Strong interpersonal, team building, and communication skills, background knowledge of construction, mining, and water & sewer industry, and ability to analyze and understand Geotechnical/Hydro Geotechnical reports and data.
- Technical Skills: Strong computer skills and knowledge of Maximizer and Texada Inventory Software.
- Personal Qualities: Outstanding organization and planning skills, visibility requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public, and ability to lift varying loads, up to 50 lbs.
