Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior HVAC Technician to join our team at WD Sheetmetal/Striker Industries. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This is a permanent position with a competitive salary range of $85,000 to $110,000 per year.

About the Job
  • This role requires strong technical skills and experience in installing and maintaining complex HVAC systems.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • You will be required to interpret blueprints and diagrams to determine work requirements and plan methods or sequences of operation.
  • Your duties will include assembling and installing refrigeration or air conditioning components, measuring and laying out reference points for installation, and troubleshooting heating systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Certification as a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic (Red Seal)
  • Valid driver's licence and a reliable vehicle
  • Ability to lift 25 kg and work at heights
  • Steel-toed safety boots and basic hand tools required
