About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Loader Operator to join our Winter Maintenance team at Colas, a leading provider of construction and maintenance services. As a Loader Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining a variety of heavy equipment, including skid steers and front end loaders, to ensure the safe and efficient completion of winter maintenance operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain heavy equipment, including skid steers and front end loaders, to perform winter maintenance tasks
  • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Perform fluid level checks and complete maintenance records and daily equipment logs
  • Assist in winter operations as needed, including snow removal and ice control
  • Work in extreme weather conditions, including snow and ice
Requirements
  • 1-2 years' experience operating heavy equipment, particularly with a loader
  • G License and clean driving abstract
  • Ability to work assigned shifts, including evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays
  • Willingness to work in extreme weather conditions
  • Mechanically inclined
