About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Service Professional to join our team at OpenRoad Auto Group. As a Licensed Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction and quality service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and prioritize repair orders from dispatch and perform work with efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
  • Communicate effectively with the parts department to obtain necessary parts and materials.
  • Examine vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is required.
  • Advise the Service Advisor of any additional work needed or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised timeframe.
  • Inform the dispatcher of job status and ensure timely completion of repairs.
  • Complete and maintain accurate documentation of work performed.
  • Participate in factory-sponsored training classes and stay up-to-date on technical bulletins.
  • Ensure customer vehicles are kept clean and tidy.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  • Comply with all relevant federal, provincial, and municipal regulations.
Requirements
  • Must be a fully licensed Technician.
  • Working knowledge of automotive equipment and systems.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills to maintain optimal customer satisfaction.
  • Self-motivated and organized individual with excellent communication skills.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality work and meeting customer expectations.
  • Ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid Canadian driver's license and ability to provide a driver's abstract for review.
