Job Title: Light Duty Cleaner

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at Angel's Janitorial Services Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our clients. This includes sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors, dusting furniture, vacuuming carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, making beds and changing sheets, distributing clean towels and toiletries, stocking linen closets, cleaning and disinfecting kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, and performing light housekeeping and cleaning duties.

Responsibilities:
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
  • Dust furniture
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture
  • Make beds and change sheets
  • Distribute clean towels and toiletries
  • Stock linen closets
  • Clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset
  • Ability to work independently
  • Fast-paced environment
  • Work under pressure
  • Repetitive tasks
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking
  • Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
  • Steel-toed safety boots
  • Punctuality
