About the Role

This position requires a compassionate and professional individual to provide personal care to clients. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and more. You'll also support clients in safely ambulating and transferring, as well as perform delegated tasks as required.

Requirements

  • PSW certification or diploma is mandatory
  • First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) level C Certificate
  • Police Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening (within 1 year)
  • 2 Steps of Tuberculosis (TB) Test and Immunizations (up to date)
  • Strong time management skills, confidentiality, and professionalism
  • Excellent communicator, able to foster relationships with Healthcare Staff and clients
  • Ability to work independently and work effectively within a team environment
  • Interest in continuous learning – high energy and focused
