Key Responsibilities
  • Purchasing and Procurement
    • Purchase equipment, materials, and supplies from approved vendors
    • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
    • Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers
  • Inventory Management
    • Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels
    • Coordinate with suppliers to receive and store inventory
  • Logistics and Operations
    • Plan and coordinate the movement of goods and materials
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Communication and Reporting
    • Communicate with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and management to ensure smooth operations
    • Prepare and submit reports on procurement activities and inventory levels
Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
    • Or equivalent experience
  • Experience
    • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a procurement or purchasing role
    • Permanent position
    • 30 hours per week
  • Language
    • Fluent in English
