About the Role

This position involves coordinating, performing, and evaluating diagnostic services examinations as a member of a multidisciplinary healthcare team at McMaster Children's Hospital.


Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and perform diagnostic services examinations
  • Evaluate the quality of diagnostic services examinations
  • Guide and direct clinical and technical associates and students in a teaching and research environment
  • Work with state-of-the-art equipment, including the Operating Room O-Arm
  • Rotate through other modalities and sites based on qualifications and unit requirements

Requirements

  • Graduate of an approved training program in Radiological Technology
  • Current member in good standing with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologist of Ontario (CMRITO)
  • Professional designation of Registered Medical Radiology Technologist (MRT)
  • Proficiency in both Official Languages, French and English, is considered an asset
