Butcher - Meat Cutter

Ricky's All Day Grill is seeking a skilled Butcher to join our team. As a Butcher, you will be responsible for cutting and preparing meats for our customers. This is a permanent position, requiring 40 hours of work per week. The ideal candidate will have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 2 years of experience in a similar role. Key responsibilities include cutting carcasses, preparing special cuts of meat, and wrapping and packaging prepared meats. The successful candidate will be physically demanding and have excellent hand-eye coordination. We offer a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities, newcomers, and refugees. Key Responsibilities:
- Cut carcasses, sides, and quarters
- Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers
- Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat
- Wrap and package prepared meats
- Remove bones from meat
- Cut poultry into parts
- Clean and prepare fish and shellfish
- Grind meats
- Slice cooked meats
- Prepare special displays of meats, poultry, and fish products
- Shape, lace, and tie roasts, other meats, poultry, and seafood

Experience:
- 2 years to less than 3 years
