We are seeking a skilled Pasty Artisan to join our team at Marché Famille Viau Inc. as a key member of our bakery department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pastry making and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Prepare pastry for special occasions, such as weddings and birthdays.
  • Bake mixed dough and batters.
  • Prepare special orders.
  • Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods.
  • Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
  • Oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods.
Requirements:
  • Baker Trade Certification.
  • Baker Red Seal Certificate.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will be working in a bakery setting, with a focus on producing high-quality baked goods. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to multitask.
