About the Role

Muhurtham Jewels is seeking a skilled Watchmaker and Jeweller to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for cleaning, repairing, and maintaining timepieces and precious gems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain timepieces using specialized cleaning solutions and equipment
  • Perform repairs and adjustments on watches and clocks
  • Examine, cut, shape, and polish diamonds and precious gems
  • Appraise gemstones and diamonds to identify rare specimens and detect peculiarity affecting stone values
  • Supervise other jewellers or watch repairers
Requirements
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in watchmaking or jewellery repair
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality control skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
Working Conditions
  • Permanent full-time position
  • 30 to 40 hours per week
  • English language required
