The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Environmental Health and Safety Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will actively promote a healthy and safe culture within the organization, ensuring compliance with regulations, safe work practices, and procedures.
You will support project-specific conventional safety and environmental management plans, train project staff in safety procedures, track and report safety-related statistics, and participate in Joint Health and Safety Committees. Your expertise will be invaluable in developing return-to-work and modified work programs, as well as coordinating activities of site-safety coordinators.
What You Bring
- A designation such as CHSO or CRSP
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Health and Safety within the nuclear construction industry
- Relevant Post Secondary education or equivalent experience in the Health and Safety field
- Strong leadership abilities, interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to manage sub-contractors' safety performance
