About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automobile Body Repairer Assistant to join our team at Mountainside Collision Services Ltd. As an Automobile Body Repairer Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our experienced technicians in the repair and maintenance of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Technicians in the repair and maintenance of vehicles, including moving tools and equipment, holding stakes during surveying activities, and signaling safety procedures to other workers and the general public.
  • Perform Labouring and Elemental Activities, such as cleaning machines and immediate work areas, and assisting tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed.
  • Work in a Fast-Paced Environment, combining sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling, and working under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Handle Weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and wear steel-toed safety boots as required.
  • Support a Diverse and Inclusive Work Environment, providing awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities, newcomers, and refugees, and offering on-the-job training tailored to youth.
