Job Title: Program Specialist

At Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services - CFMWS, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Program Specialist to join our team. As a Program Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting families with deployment and work-related absences while residing in the NCR region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess clients' situations to provide information, assistance, coaching, emotional support, and/or referral.
  • Act as a community service Subject Matter Expert (SME) for families with intricate needs.
  • Perform outreach/warm-line calls to CAF family members, as required.
  • Support self-help group development through facilitation, presentations, and/or information sharing.
Requirements:
  • College Diploma in Social Services, Mental Health, Human Services, or a related field.
  • Several years of experience in direct community service delivery.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
