Laundry Attendant

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our housekeeping team at Canadas Best Value Inn & Suites.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization in our laundry facilities, ensuring that all linens and uniforms are processed efficiently and effectively.

• Mix and add detergents, dyes, bleaches, starches and other solutions and chemicals according to established protocols;
• Hand fold and bag shirts, sheets and other articles with precision and care;
• Check finished dry-cleaned or laundered articles to ensure that establishment standards are met;
• Match invoices or tags with dry-cleaned or laundered articles accurately;
• Provide exceptional customer service to guests and colleagues alike;

• Bondable individual with a strong work ethic and attention to detail;
• Familiarity with commercial laundry equipment and processes;
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment;
• Standing for extended periods and physical demands associated with this role;
• Experience an asset but not required.

• A competitive salary of $45,000 per year, paid bi-weekly;
