Your OpportunityOur Oakville office is seeking a Senior Associate to join the Cloud Accounting Services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:
- Providing full cycle bookkeeping services in a cloud-based environment
- Performing reconciliations of bank accounts, journal entries, and handling accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Preparing regular external filings, such as HST completion of routine account analysis and bookkeeping assignments following established procedures
- Preparing month-end reporting packages, financial statements, and related information
- Data entry; payroll processing, including input, validation, and testing
- Identifying payroll data discrepancies outside of the norm and working with management on corrective actions
- Processing government remittances and statutory and non-statutory deductions for each pay-period (EI, CPP, and EHT)
- Communicating regularly with our clients, government agencies, and other staff members

We are looking for candidates with:
- A minimum of 3+ years of hands-on, in-depth bookkeeping experience
- A post-secondary education in Accounting or Finance is considered an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office computer programs (Outlook, Excel, and Word)
- Experience using software such as QuickBooks Online or similar operating system is an asset
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
