About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team at MANILA EXPRESS INC. as a permanent full-time employee.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and accounts payable/receivable.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Prepare and reconcile financial statements, balance sheets, and other financial reports.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns, including GST/HST and other relevant taxes.
  • Payroll Administration: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, including deductions and benefits.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure.
