Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Technician - Technology Development to join our team at Carbon Engineering. This is a full-time, onsite position based in Squamish, BC.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain test equipment at the lab, bench, and pilot scale, ensuring proper functioning and troubleshooting issues.
  • Perform regular maintenance tasks, including upkeep of day-to-day operations of the R&D facilities.
  • Contribute to general housekeeping activities, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Ensure facility organization is maintained to ensure smooth operations and enhance productivity.
Requirements
  • Relevant technical certification from a postsecondary institute.
  • 2+ years of experience in an industrial or laboratory setting.
  • Knowledge of safe industrial work practices.
  • Mechanical experience with basic hand and power tools.
  • Forklift and aerial lift experience and training desirable.
  • LOTO experience desirable.
