Job Summary

As a Cement Tanker Driver at Miller Cement, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a pneumatic cement tanker to deliver bulk cement to our customers. Your primary tasks will include pre- and post-trip inspections, equipment cleanliness, paperwork and product checks at loading and offloading points, some maintenance on equipment, and communicating any issues and repairs with the Shop and Logistics Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a pneumatic cement tanker to deliver bulk cement to customers
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure equipment is in good working condition
  • Conduct paperwork and product checks at loading and offloading points
  • Perform some maintenance on equipment as needed
  • Communicate with the Shop and Logistics Manager regarding any issues or repairs

Requirements

  • Good working knowledge of traffic routes and customer locations
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and dispatch
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
