Job Description:


The Rooms Operations Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's rooms area departments. This includes managing the Front Office, Engineering/Maintenance, and Housekeeping teams to deliver exceptional guest satisfaction and maximize financial performance.


Leading the Team:



  • Create a positive work environment that motivates and empowers team members to provide exceptional guest service.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve guest satisfaction and employee engagement.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and one-on-one coaching sessions to ensure clear communication and goal alignment.

Managing Property Rooms Operations:



  • Assist in managing the execution of all operations in the rooms area departments, including Front Office, Engineering/Maintenance, and Housekeeping.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and optimize departmental performance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.

Guest Experience:



  • Ensure that all team members understand and meet hospitality standards, focusing on delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Respond promptly to guest concerns and complaints, resolving issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Promote a culture of customer-centricity throughout the hotel, encouraging team members to go above and beyond to exceed guest expectations.

Financial Management:



  • Analyze financial statements, sales reports, and activity data to measure productivity and goal achievement.
  • Identify areas for cost reduction and program improvement, implementing strategies to optimize departmental performance.
  • Work collaboratively with the General Manager and Regional Director to develop and implement business plans and budgets.

Hiring and Training:



  • Interview and assist in making hiring decisions for the Rooms Operations team.
  • Develop and conduct training programs to ensure new hires have the skills and knowledge required to succeed in their roles.
  • Mentor and coach team members to enhance their performance and achieve career goals.
