About the Role

The Environmental and Regulatory Student will provide support to the Environmental and Regulatory Team, responsible for managing environmental and regulatory compliance programs at our operations. This role will be based at our head office in Calgary and will work closely with the team to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the management of environmental monitoring and emergency response programs
  • Support environmental initiatives and assist the team with internal and external reporting
  • Collaborate with the Environmental and Regulatory Advisors to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
Requirements
  • Enrolled in a relevant science, engineering, or technology program at a post-secondary institution
  • Returning to school following the internship
  • Excellent communication and technical skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight

  • Indigenous candidates, particularly those from the Wood Buffalo Region
