Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate Advisor to join our team at the Royal Bank of Canada. As an Associate Advisor, you will play a key role in deepening client relationships and identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate meetings and events for the Investment Advisor with clients and prospects, including determining agendas and key topics, preparing documentation, and executing post-meeting work.
  • Provide proactive client service with a problem-resolution focus and attention to details, liaising with various departments as necessary.
  • Respond to client account inquiries and remain accountable for follow-up, as required.
  • Help build and execute business plans, client segmentation, and client service plans.
  • Identify and execute opportunities among existing client bases for asset consolidation, referrals, and other growth initiatives.
  • Support advisory teams and clients through the Wealth Management process, gathering relevant information, coordinating activities with Wealth Management specialists, tracking progress, and following up.
Requirements
  • Approval as a Registered Representative (RR) with IIROC.
  • Successful completion of the Wealth Management Essentials (WME) course or Investment Management Techniques (IMT).
  • 2-4 years or more of professional experience within the investment industry.
  • University degree.
  • A self-directed individual with a growth and goals-oriented mindset.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin/Cantonese.
